Quirky, creative, and always weird - I strive to be authentically me and help others to do their best.

Born and raised in Kentucky,  I married my high school sweetheart, Sean, and we have one son named Xander.

I rather love school - in terms of degrees I have: a Bachelors of Arts in English (Literature) and History, a Masters of Arts in Education – Student Affairs, a second Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership, and a Graduate Certificate in Literacy - Higher Education. I am currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing.

I teach First Year Experience (FYE) full time at our community college, and am an adjunct teaching Organizational Leadership for the university. I love my job and my career.

I am involved in many activities. I am a faculty co-sponsor for Gay-Straight Alliance and our Creative Writers clubs.

I have been writing my entire life. I published my first novel in 2024, and second in 2025. The third will come out in 2026. I have several short stories published, as well as book reviews and articles.
